Bantam:14 Years - Born 1994 or later - Grade 8
Junior: 15 and 16 Yrs. : Born in 1992 or 1993
Senior: 17 and 18 Yrs.: Born in 1990 or 1991

April 20th, 2008
We cannot guarantee space available for late entries.

Entry Fees:      

$5.00 Per Event
$10.00 Per Relay
Max. $300.00 Per School
$3.00 Day of Meet BC Athletic Membership if not a member

Seeding:

Athletes will be seeded for all running events.
Athletes will be seeded as "slow" if we do not have a time for them.

We are using the Hy-Tek Team Manager Lite Entry system. Email Shirley Young for the file and instructions.

Registration Package Pickup:

Pickup starting at 9:00 A.M. at the white tent next to the concession.
Packages are organized by School/Club and must be paid for and picked up before any athlete can participate in an event. Therefore, a club representative must be assigned to pick up the numbers and pay for the entries.

Athlete Awards
& Team Trophy

Aggregate awards for top age class Male & Female will be determined by the point’s total of the best 4 events per athlete.
Medals to top three finishers in all events.
Ribbons for 4th through 8th place finish in each individual event.
Medals and ribbons will be available at the registration desk 30 minutes after the final results are posted.
Team trophy to overall top scoring school based on total points.

Points:

1st = 10 points-----5th = 4 points
2nd = 8 points------4th = 3 points
3rd = 6 points------6th = 2 points
4th = 5 points------8th = 1 point

Athlete Entry lists will be posted on the concession building

Equipment:

Maximum spike length on track and horizontal jumps is 7mm. Throwing implements are BC High School standard.

Concession:

Open throughout the meet for your convenience.
Hot lunch, hot and cold drinks and snacks are available.

Memorabilia

Programs and other items will be available near the Registration desk

Age Divisions for competition:
Bantam - 14 years old, born in 1994 or later.
Junior - 15 and 16 yrs. old, born in 1992 & 1993.
Senior - 17 and 18 yrs. old, born in 1990 & 1991.

All track events will be run from youngest to oldest, and women before men

10:00 am: 11:00am: The Men’s Hammer throw (all ages combined)
11:00 am: 1500M all ages and HJ-14M, LJ-Sr.M, Shot-14W, Disc-15/16W,
                Jav-15/16M, Triple Jump - all Women.
11:45 am: 100M timed Finals - all ages.
12:30 pm: 400M finals - all ages and HJ-14W, LJ-15/16W, Shot-14M,
                Disc-Sr.M, Jav-Sr.W
1:00 pm: 3000M - all ages.
1:30 pm: HJ-Sr.M, LJ-15/16M, Shot-15/16W, Disc-Sr.W, Jav-14M
1:45 pm: 200M timed Finals - all ages
2:45 pm: HJ-15/16W, LJ-Sr.W, Shot-Sr.M, Disc-15/16M, Jav-14W,
              Triple Jump - all Men.
2:45 pm: 800M - all ages.
3:30 pm: 4 x 100M Relay - all ages
3:45 pm: HJ-15/16M, LJ-14M, Shot-Sr.W, Disc-14W, Jav-15/16W
4:00 pm: 4 x 400M Relay - all ages, and Hammer Throw - all women
4:30 pm: HJ-Sr.W, LJ-14W, Shot-15/16M, Disc-14M, Jav-Sr.M
