Meets

Every year South Fraser hosts three meets.  The Junior Olympics is the largest and is for elementary ages.  The Fraser Valley Invitational, is our meet for high schoolers.  Lastly the Annual Cross Country Meet is available to those who are 6 years old and older.  Below you will find information about each meet as well as a link to a page that has more specific information o`n the corresponding meet.

Junior Olympics

The Junior Olympics is a meet for 6-14 year olds held annually by the South Fraser Track and Field Club.  For two days you can come and do multiple events as you compete with other kids your own age.  Each year more than 400 elementary competitors coming, with some years having well over a thousand runners, jumpers, and throwers.  This meet, held on the May Long weekend, offers fun for children.  Being hosted at Bear Creek Park, a large waterpark is available to cool off.

Fraser Valley Invitational

Most often held in late April, the Fraser Valley Invitational is a high school meet, that often kicks off the season for most high school competitors.  This meet is one day only, leaving Sunday open for other activities.  The Fraser Valley Invitational is a great opportunity to achieve new PBs from the previous year and allows competitors to benchmark the coming year.

Cross Country

The Cross Country Meet held every year in late September, is a one day event from 10am to 3pm.  Come and enjoy running through the trials as you compete against other people your age.  Anyone over 5 years old can compete.  All events will be electronically timed for great accuracy.   More information.
