BC High School Championships

Our Club’s coaches are proud of and just wanted everyone to know how the South Fraser girls and boys did at the BC High School Championships this weekend.

Senior Division

• Justin Kent – 3rd in 3000m time 8:52, 2nd in 2000m Steeple time 6:09.57 (0.27 seconds from World Youth standard)
• Serena Graf – 2nd in SP 10.95M, 5th Hammer 39.33, 5th Javelin 37.27 (great performances for a grade 9)
• Del Ingvaldson placed 4th in Discus with a throw of 46.51
• Brodie Invaldson placed 9th with a throw of 36.30 (way to come back from the hamstring injury)
• Riley Van Ryswk placed 9th in the Pole Vault with a respectable 3:15 jump.
• Colton Wills jumped 12.88 in Triple Jump to tie for 5th. (injury caused him to only jump twice)

Grade 8/9 Division

• Kathryn van Ryswyk – 5th 80mH 12.94,
• Filip Backiel – 2nd in HJ 175 cm
• Konrad Piaseczny – 3rd in LJ 5.93, 6th in HJ 170cm and 8th in SP

A very respectable showing from the South Fraser boys and girls. We are looking forward to the club BC championships.
